Danone Set To Triple Plant-Based Business By 2025
Danone, one of the largest food companies in the world, recently told its investors that plants will be key to growth going forward. This is heady stuff coming from one of the largest dairy companies in the world. In 2017, Danone had €24.7 billion (about $28 billion) in sales. During its recent investor conference, Danone pledged to triple its worldwide plant-based sales from €1.7 billion $($1.9 billion) to around €5 billion ($5.7 billion) by 2025.
